Indicator On Constantly

  1. Remove ABS light driver module circuit board. Light driver module is located behind parking brake cable bracket. Turn ignition on. If ABS indicator light is on, repair short to ground in Purple wire, connector terminal "N".
  2. If ABS indicator light did not come on, use test light to backprobe ABS light driver module terminal "B" to ground. If test light does not come on, repair open in Pink/Black wire. If test light comes on, go to next step.
  3. Turn ignition off. Reinstall ABS light driver module circuit board. Unplug Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) connector C1, located to left of brake pedal. Using a fused jumper, connect terminal F2 (Dark Blue wire) to ground. Turn ignition on. If indicator light comes on, check for poor connection at ABS light driver module terminal "C" (Dark Blue wire) or for open in Dark Blue wire.
  4. If indicator light does not come on, check fused jumper. If fuse is blown, repair short in Dark Blue wire. If fuse is not blown, check for poor connection at EBCM. If connections are okay, replace EBCM.
