WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Plymouth Voyager, 1995 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan, 1995 Dodge Caravan, and 1995 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section at the end of this article.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position before disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector terminals No. 26, CCD BUS positive circuit (Violet/Brown wire) and PCM terminal No. 7, 8-volt supply circuit (Orange wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between CCD BUS positive circuit and 8-volt supply circuit. Perform TEST VER-1.
  2. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, check resistance between PCM connector terminals No. 46, CCD BUS negative circuit (White/Black wire), and PCM terminal No. 7, 8-volt supply circuit (Orange wire).
  3. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short between CCD BUS negative circuit and 8-volt supply circuit. Perform TEST VER-1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace PCM. Perform TEST VER-1.
