Test Description

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

Tech 1 will energize circuit for 5 seconds.
Detects a partially shorted coil which would cause excessive current flow. Leave circuit energized for 2 minutes to allow coil to warm. Coil may then open, causing amperage to drop to zero.
Remaining checks will identify a circuit problem that has caused an excessive current flow or inoperative solenoid.
