Code 125 - EBTCM-To-Pcm TCS Active Circuit Malfunction (With TCS): Notes
Traction control system uses the anti-lock brake system in conjunction with PCM fuel and ignition controls to limit drive wheel slippage during deceleration.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart. Use only 10-megohm (minimum) DVOM for all voltage and resistance tests. For identification of circuits and terminals referenced in charts and text, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Checks for proper voltage at PCM terminal.
- Checks for short to voltage on traction control active circuit.
- Ensures fault is not due to physical damage to circuit.
- Checks for open traction control active circuit.
- Checks for ground in traction control active circuit.
- Checks for possible poor terminal contact at EBTCM.
