Programming New Module

NOTE: Do not allow more than 10 seconds to elapse between each programming step as this will suspend programming procedure and procedure will have to be started from beginning. Ensure both keys are present for programming procedure.
  1. To program a NEW Central Control Module (CCM), install new module onto vehicle. Insert first customer's key into ignition lock cylinder and turn to RUN position. Turn key to LOCK position and remove from lock cylinder. Program mode has now been entered.
  2. CCM will flash SECURITY indicator once, indicating first key should be inserted into ignition lock cylinder. DO NOT turn key in cylinder. Remove key from cylinder. CCM has now determined resistance value of key and stored value in memory. If an invalid key is detected, CCM will exit programming mode.
  3. If key is valid, CCM will flash SECURITY indicator twice, indicating second key should be inserted into ignition lock cylinder. If an invalid key is detected, CCM will exit programming mode and store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in memory. If key is valid, system will finish programming and exit programming mode. SECURITY indicator will go out.
