Left Front Window Does Not Operate
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light, backprobe between ground and Dark Blue wire terminal, and between ground and Brown wire terminal at left window switch connector. If test light is on at both terminals, go to next step. If test light is off at both terminals, replace left window switch.
- Connect test light between Dark Blue wire and Brown wire terminals at left window switch connector. Press left window switch to up and down positions. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, replace left window switch.
- Backprobe between ground and Dark Blue wire terminal at left window motor connector. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open in Dark Blue wire between left window switch and motor.
- Disconnect power window control module connector, located behind center instrument panel, left of driver information center. Connect test light between ground and Dark Blue wire terminal, then between ground and Brown wire terminal, at power window control module connector. If test light is on at both terminals, go to next step. If test light is off at either terminal, repair open in Dark Blue wire or Brown wire between left window switch and power window control module.
- Connect test light between battery voltage and Black wire at power window control module. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open in Black wire between power window control module and ground connection.
- Momentarily connect a fused jumper between ground and Gray wire terminal at left window motor connector. If motor operates in up direction, repair open in Gray wire between motor and power window control module. If Gray wire is okay, replace power window control module. If motor does not operate in up direction, replace motor.
