One Power Mirror Does Not Operate In Up/Down Positions

  1. If left mirror is inoperative, go to next step. If right mirror is inoperative, go to step 7).
  2. Disconnect left power mirror connector. Connect test light between left power mirror harness connector terminal "C" (Yellow wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select left mirror. Move power mirror switch up. If test light illuminates, go to step 6). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  3. Check for poor connection or open in Yellow wire between left power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 5).
  4. Repair poor connection or open in Yellow wire between left power mirror and power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
  5. Replace power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
  6. Replace power mirror pack in left power mirror. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Recheck system operation.
  7. Disconnect right power mirror connector. Connect test light between right power mirror harness connector terminal "C" (Brown/White wire) and ground. Using mirror select switch, select right mirror. Move power mirror switch up. If test light illuminates, go to step 10). If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  8. Check for poor connection or open in Brown/White wire between right power mirror and power mirror switch. If circuit is not okay, go to next step. If circuit is okay, go to step 5).
  9. Repair poor connection or open in Brown/White wire between right power mirror and power mirror switch. Recheck system operation.
  10. Replace power mirror pack in right power mirror. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Recheck system operation.
