Charging System Warning Light

Warning system consists of a battery symbol warning light on instrument cluster. If charging system malfunction occurs, warning light will glow. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls charging system warning light. If system voltage is not 11.2-16.5 volts, PCM will turn on light. As a bulb check, light will glow when ignition is turned on.
