Service Engine Soon Light

This warning light is part of On Board Diagnostics II (OBD II) system, and will flash or remain on steady when a malfunction or trouble code(s) exists. If light is flashing, a misfire condition exists. If light is on steady, an emission system problem exists. As a bulb check, light will glow when ignition is turned on. If no problem exists, light will go out when engine is started.
