Symptom Tests: Notes

CAUTION: Static electricity can destroy integrated circuits in instrument cluster and VSS calibrator. Before servicing these components, ground yourself and work area to discharge static electricity.

NOTE: Unless otherwise specified, make all voltage and resistance measurements with a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) having an input impedance of 10 megohms or greater.

NOTE: To locate components, see COMPONENT LOCATIONS . To identify instrument cluster connector, refer to illustration. See Fig 1 .
