Removal & Installation
- Using Tech 2, perform GEAR TENSION RELIEF function according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect harness connectors from hydraulic modulator. Protect motor pack and connectors using shop towels placed under assembly to catch brake fluid. Disconnect and plug all brakelines from hydraulic modulator and proportioning block. Remove assembly from vehicle. See Fig 1.
- To install, reverse removal procedure and bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
