Mode 1

Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system will arm when doors are locked with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. CTD system will not arm if doors are locked with power door lock switch. CTD system will disarm when doors are unlocked with key or RKE transmitter.

NOTE: Mode 2 provides increased security, however if RKE transmitter is lost, damaged or fails to operate while CTD system is armed, CTD system cannot be disarmed with key, and vehicle will not start due to CTD fuel disable.
