Switch Operation

Battery voltage is applied to the window switches through the power switches through the power windows circuit breaker "C" to circuit 143 to the left front window switch through circuit 1307 and then to all the switches when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or RUN position. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

Battery voltage is applied to the right front window regulator motor through circuit 666 when the UP position in the right front window switch is pressed. The motor is grounded through circuit 667, the down contact in the right front window switch, circuit 167 and the down contact in the left front window switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . The motor runs to drive the window up.

Battery voltage is applied to the right front window regulator motor in the opposite direction through circuit 667. The motor is grounded through circuit 666, the up contact in the right front window switch, circuit 166 and the up contact in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window down. The other windows operate similarly from their individual window switches.
