Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module
The Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM) is located on front portion of Power Sliding Door (PSD) assembly, behind right rear quarter panel. The RSDACM monitors inputs from PSD on/off switch, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR), PSD open/close switches in overhead console and "B" pillar and Park position of automatic transaxle shifter.
The RSDACM determines PSD position through right rear door lock. The right rear door lock will signal as PSD moves to ajar position to fully closed position. The optical sensor informs RSDACM of PSDs exact position during its travel.
The RSDACM cannot retain memory during a power loss. If any of the following conditions occurred, memory will be erased:
- Disconnected battery.
- Low or dead battery.
- PSD inoperative.
- Removed or blown PWR SEAT/PSD fuse.
- Removed or blown IGN 1 fuse.
- Removed or blown RADIO fuse (located in underhood electrical center).
- Removed or blown B/U LP fuse.
- Exiting PSD diagnostics.
