- Disconnect left window motor connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect a test light between ground and left window motor connector terminal "A" (Dark Blue wire). Press left window switch on master window switch assembly to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 3 .
- Connect a test light between left window motor connector terminals "A" (Dark Blue wire) and "B" (Brown wire). Press left window switch on master window switch assembly to UP position. If test light illuminates, go to step 4 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5 .
- Check for an open in Dark Blue wire between left window motor connector terminal "A" and master window switch assembly connector C2 terminal "A". See Figure . See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If Dark Blue wire is open, go to step 7 . If Dark Blue wire is okay, go to step 6 .
- Replace left window motor. See WINDOW MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system.
- Check for an open in Brown wire between left window motor connector terminal "B" and master window switch assembly connector C2 terminal "E". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If Brown wire is open, go to step 8 . If Brown wire is okay, go to next step.
- Replace master window switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system.
- Repair open in Dark Blue wire between left window motor connector terminal "A" and master window switch assembly connector C2 terminal "A".
- Repair open in Brown wire between left window motor connector terminal "B" and master window switch assembly connector C2 terminal "E".
