NOTE:
References to HVAC or rear HVAC are manufacturers terms for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system. This term is also used for non air conditioned vehicles to describe the system in general.
HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system is an electronically controlled blend-air system. Air entering vehicle must pass through or around, heater core to provide air of desired temperature.
An auxiliary (rear) heater system is available. The system operates in conjunction with main system, and provides heat (if equipped). Auxiliary blower motor switch is independent of main system control. Auxiliary blower motor may be operated independently of front HVAC system.
