Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the bulbs to the sockets (1).
Install the bulbs/sockets (1) to the HVAC control lamp.

Install the HVAC control lamp to the I/P
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the screws to the HVAC control lamp.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
Perform the following:
- On Chevrolet install the I/P cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Chevrolet) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- On Pontiac install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Pontiac) or Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Chevrolet) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
