Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the bulbs to the sockets (1).
  2. Install the bulbs/sockets (1) to the HVAC control.
  3. Install the HVAC control to the instrument panel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the screws to the HVAC control.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the HVAC control screws 2 N.m (18 lb.in).

  5. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET) or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
