Radio Anti-Theft Feature (THEFTLOCK(R)) Activating

CAUTION:
Allowing more than 15 seconds to elapse between each action in this procedure, will cause radio to automatically revert to time function.
- Write down any 3 or 4 digit number from 000-1999.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position.
- Turn radio off.
- Press and hold 1 and 4 buttons simultaneously until radio displays "- - -". Enter secret code number chosen in step 1) .
- Press MN. Radio will display "000".
- Press MN again until last 2 digits agree with secret code.
- Press HR until first 2 digits agree with secret code.
- Press AM-FM. Radio will display "REP" indicating steps 5) - 7) need to be repeated for confirmation of secret code.
- Press AM-FM. Radio will display "SEC" indicating radio is secure. Light Emitting Diode (LED) indicator by volume control will begin to flash once ignition switch is turned to OFF position.
