Front Console: Removal

Suitably block the drive wheels. Turn the ignition key to the RUN position. Place the shift lever in the Neutral position. Remove the console trim plate. See TRIM PLATE .
Raise the park brake handle as far as possible. If you cannot pull the park brake handle up far enough to remove the console, perform the following steps:
- Release the park brake handle.
- Hold the adjuster pawl disengaged. See Fig 1 .
The park brake handle can be pulled up further.
Remove the floor console bolts (1). See Fig 2 . Disconnect the power outlet electrical connector. Remove the floor console (2) from the vehicle.
