Content Theft Deterrent System: Notes

To arm CTD system, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove key from ignition lock cylinder and open driver's door. Press lock on either power door lock switch or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. SECURITY indicator light flashes while driver's door is open, and will remain illuminated when driver's door is closed and CTD system enters arming mode.

SECURITY indicator light flashes continuously at a low rate when CTD system is armed. To disarm system, unlock either door by using key in key lock cylinder. Press UNLOCK button on RKE transmitter. Alarm system activates if a door is opened, ignition switch is turned from OFF position, rear compartment lock cylinder is removed from rear compartment lid, or if ALARM button is pressed on RKE transmitter.
