Test M: Keyless Entry System Inoperative (Base)

- Perform SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Go to next step.
- Disconnect RCDLR. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between RCDLR connector terminal "E" (Orange wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step 5 .
- Using DVOM, check continuity between RCDLR connector terminal "N" (Black wire) and ground. See Figure . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, go to step 6 .
- Replace RCDLR. See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair, recheck system.
- Repair open in Orange wire between RCDLR and instrument panel fuse block. After repair, recheck system.
- Repair open in Black wire between RCDLR and ground G202. After repair, recheck system.
