System Tests: Notes
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - TRACKER
article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
NOTE:
Unless otherwise indicated in testing procedure, use a Digital Volt/Ohmmeter (DVOM) with minimum 10 megohm impedance for all system testing.
NOTE:
Instrument cluster connectors are located behind instrument cluster. For instrument cluster connector terminal identification, see INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONNECTOR TERMINALS table. See Fig 1.
