Installation Procedure

Connect the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.

Position the hood latch to the marks on the hood latch support bracket.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the hood latch to center support bracket bolts. Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Adjust the hood, as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
Close the hood.
