Installation Procedure

Install the steering gear heat shield.
Install the steering gear heat shield bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the steering gear heat shield bolts to 14 N.m (124 Ib. in).

If the vehicle is equipped with all wheel drive, install the right side engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT -- ENGINE .
Lower the vehicle.
