Power Sliding Door System: Description

The Power Sliding Door (PSD) is designed to open and close right sliding door with one of 2 buttons located in vehicle. One switch is located in overhead console, other switch is located on right "B" pillar. If vehicle is equipped with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE), PSD can also be operated using RKE transmitter. A "power assist" will take over an open/close operation that was started manually. PSD feature can be disabled using PSD on/off switch located in overhead console. If transaxle is not in Park position, door will close but not open. If child security lock on right sliding door is engaged, PSD will function using either open/close switch inside vehicle or sliding door button on Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. PSD will be inoperative using inside door handle.
