Code Enable Criteria
For DTC to run, the following conditions must be met:
- Vehicle speed is more 10 MPH.
- Engine load is less than 60 percent.
- Engine misfire is detected (DTC P0300 set).
- Engine speed is less than 3200 RPM.
DTC will set when a serial data malfunction exists for 20 seconds preventing PCM from receiving rough road detection data.
NOTE:
Serial data must be serviced before diagnosing misfire. Actual engine misfire may or may not exist.
