A/C Idle-Up Signal (Metro)

When A/C compressor is engaged, a signal is sent from A/C compressor control module to the PCM. PCM uses this signal to determine engine idle speed. PCM will signal the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve to open and increase idle to prevent rough idle or stalling. For component location, see Figure.
