Front Door Trim Panel: Removal

1. Unclip and remove trim cover (2) from front side door armrest. See Fig 1 .
2. Remove door handle screw. Slide handle forward and release handle rod clip.
3. Remove 2 screws (2) that retain front side door trim panel (1). See Fig 2 .
4. Using a taped flat-blade tool, gently pry front side door accessory switch mounting plate (1) from front side door trim (2). See Fig 3 .
5. Disconnect front side door window and/or lock switch electrical connectors.
6. Remove plastic retainer (3) that retains front side door trim (1). See Fig 2 .
7. Remove front side door trim (1) from door by disengaging plastic retainers.
