Electronic Brake Control Module

Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) is bolted directly to BPMV, which is located beside brake master cylinder. EBCM controls solenoids and pump to reduce pressure at a particular wheel when it is slipping. EBCM makes this determination by monitoring wheel speed sensors at each wheel. If system malfunctions, EBCM will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and illuminate ABS light.
