Removal Procedure

WARNING: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
Disconnect the positive battery cable.

Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt and retainer.
Remove the battery.
