Installation Procedure
- Install the lower ball joint to the steering knuckle. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement .NOTE:
- Avoid pounding the bolts or any excessive force when installing the control arm to the frame.
- Always inspect the frame attachment hole for elongation greater than 1 mm clearance around the bolt in any direction at any location. If 1 mm gap or other evidence of damage is detected, repair the frame as required. Refer to Structural Body Repair and Dimensions.
- Install the coil spring. Refer to Front Coil Springs Replacement .
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Lower the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the lower control arm to the frame nuts to 155 N.m (115 lb ft).
- Check the wheel alignment. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS .
