Removal Procedure

  1. Close the sunroof.
  2. Remove the headliner, as necessary. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from both ends of the sunroof control module.
  4. Remove the nylon tie straps from the sunroof control module.
  5. Release the control module retainers from the metal bracket by sliding the module towards the middle of the vehicle.
  6. Remove the sunroof control module from the vehicle.
