Installation Procedure

- Install the hood latch support (2).
- Install the nuts (3) and the bolts (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nuts and the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
- Install the bolt that retains the power steering cooler to the hood latch support. Refer to POWER STEERING COOLER PIPE/HOSE REPLACEMENT .
- Install the ambient temperature sensor. Refer to AIR TEMPERATURE SENSORS .
- Install the hood primary latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement - Primary .
Adjust the latch as needed. Refer to Hood Latch Adjustment .
