Installation Procedure

  1. Install the retainers that secure the assist strap to quarter trim panel.
  2. Install quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper .
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the two fasteners that retain assist strap and quarter trim to the body.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 2 fasteners to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

  4. Secure the assist strap escutcheons.
