Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Eldorado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Connect the electrical connectors to the garage door opener and the sunroof switch (if equipped).
Install the overhead console (3) into the headliner opening.
Secure the garage door opener wire to the front retainer clip.
Make sure the locking tabs (4) are properly positioned.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the fastener (2).
Tighten

Tighten the fastener to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

Install the roof console trim plate (1) to the roof console (3).
Gently push upward in order to lock the trim plate (1) to the roof console.
