Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooing system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
- Remove the electric cooling fans. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric .
- Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
- Disconnect the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (1) from the radiator, if equipped.
- Remove the front air deflector. Refer to AIR DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT in Body Front End.
- Complete the following in order to remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe from the radiator, if equipped:
- 7.1. Depress the tabs inward.
- 7.2. Pull outward to remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting from the radiator.
- Remove the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting from the radiator.
- Remove the upper radiator support screws.
- Remove the radiator from the vehicle. Lift the radiator up and out.
