Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooing system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the electric cooling fans. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric .
  3. Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.

  4. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.

  5. Disconnect the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (1) from the radiator, if equipped.
  6. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to AIR DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT in Body Front End.

  7. Complete the following in order to remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe from the radiator, if equipped:
    1. 7.1. Depress the tabs inward.
    2. 7.2. Pull outward to remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe.
  8. Lower the vehicle.

  9. Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting from the radiator.
  10. Remove the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting from the radiator.

  11. Remove the upper radiator support screws.
  12. Remove the radiator from the vehicle. Lift the radiator up and out.
