The keyless entry system is a supplementary vehicle entry device. Radio frequency interference or discharged batteries may disable the system.

Receiver (RCDLR). When you press a button on the transmitter, the transmitter sends a signal to the RCDLR. The RCDLR receives the signal and sends a class II serial data message requesting the appropriate function from the BCM.
