Installation Procedure

Connect the electrical connectors to the multifunction switch (1).
Position the multifunction switch (1) on the steering column (2) while depressing the spring loaded horn pin.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the mounting screw (1) to the multifunction switch (2).
Tighten

Tighten the screw to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Verify that the multifunction switch works properly.
