Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cable between the seat cushion frame and the seat adjuster.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the seat cushion frame mounting nuts that secure the seat cushion frame to the power seat adjuster frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat cushion frame mounting nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat cushion cover and pad over the seat cushion frame.

  4. Install the front J-strip (1).

  5. Install the cable end to the seat adjuster (2) by inserting the ball though the round opening.

  6. Install the seat adjuster cable (1) to the seat adjuster.
  7. Route the cable (1) through the notch (2) in the seat adjuster and under the seat cushion frame.
  8. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to install the cable to the opposite side of the seat.

  9. Install the push pins (1) that retain the seat cushion cover to the side of the seat cushion frame.
  10. Install the seat switch bezel. Refer to Seat Switch Bezel Replacement .
  11. Install the seat cushion outer trim panel. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement .
  12. Install the front finish panel. Refer to Finish Panel Replacement - Front Seat - Front .
  13. Install the front seat assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement .
