Removal Procedure

Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT (OUTBOARD) or CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT (INBOARD) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Remove the I/P dimmer module bolts (3).
Remove the I/P dimmer module (2) from the HVAC bracket.
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the I/P dimmer module (2).
