Fuel Tank Pressure Control Valve: Removal
NOTE:
Numbers that are in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustrations.
- Fuel tank pressure control valve is located on top of fuel tank. See Figure. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK .
- Disconnect the 2 vapor hoses from the pressure control valve. Remove the fastener and the pressure control valve from the fuel tank. see Fig 1. Remove the pressure control valve from the sleeve (3).
