Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Insert the fuel pressure regulator.
Tighten: Tighten the fuel pressure regulator retaining bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in) .
Connect the fuel rail hose, the fuel return hose, and the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Perform a leak test of the fuel pressure regulator with the engine OFF and the ignition ON.
