Replacement Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Impala)  or Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Monte Carlo) .
  2. Remove the IP ashtray.
  3. Remove the IP ashtray bracket screws (1).
  4. Remove the IP ashtray bracket.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ashtray.
