Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill) .

Remove the radiator drain plug by unscrewing counter clockwise and pulling straight out. The seal usually comes out attached to the plug.
Clean the drain and the drain plug.
