NOTE: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
Remove the screws and the front door lock.
Disconnect the lock rods.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
