Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 6: This step tests for an open in the ignition 1 voltage circuit of the EGR valve.
- 7: This step tests for a short to ground in the control circuit of the EGR valve.
- 8: This step tests for an open in the control circuit of the EGR valve.
- 10: This step tests for high resistance in the control circuit of the EGR valve.
- 11: This step tests for a high resistance in the 5-volt reference or low reference circuit of the EGR valve.
- 13: This step tests for a high resistance in the signal circuit of the EGR valve.
