Installation Procedure

  1. Install the passenger air bag module.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the passenger air bag mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the passenger air bag mounting bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in)  .

  3. Connect the passenger air bag yellow electrical connector.

  4. Install the I/P storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
