Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.

Disconnect the battery negative cable.
Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer toTrim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster in Instrument Panel and Gages.
Remove the switch from the plate by using the following procedure:
1. Release the retaining tabs on the sides of the switch.
2. Pull the switch out of the plate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) at the back of the headlamp switch.
