Installation Procedure

  1. Position the trailer hitch to the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the trailer hitch mounting bolts to the frame rails.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 261 N.m (195 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper in Bumpers.

  4. Connect the trailer wiring harness.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
